Yellow Room:
Let's join hands and help
keep the earth green and
beautiful! We will be
learning about the
importance of recycling and
cleaning up our trash to
keep Mother Earth looking
great! We will be creating
beautiful flowers, blue
oceans and re-using bottles
to create art!
Purple Room:
This week we are
celebrating Earth Day. We
will discuss ways that we
can help to keep our Earth
clean. We will focus on
recycling.
Green Room:
Earth day will give us a
chance to talk about our
beautiful planet and then
the oceans that cover most
of it.
Blue Room:
The Blue Room
celebrated Earth Day
by making a "Junk-a-Saurus"
out of recycled
materials we've been
collecting and
talking about ways
we can help take
care of the Earth.
The rest of the week
we will be visiting
the rainforest and
learning about the
different animals
who live there. We
will do some fun
experiments, like
making it rain in a
bag, and planting
our watermelon seeds
for the garden,
yummy! Our
caterpillars have
started making their
cocoons and we are
anxiously awaiting
the arrival of our
butterflies!
Pre-K
1:
This week we will be
learning all about the
letter Y! We will start by
talking about words that
start with Y, along with
matching the upper case with
the lower case letter. We
will be taking Y to the next
level in art by
incorporating what we
learned and placing a lower
case Y on an upper case Y.
It will be so much fun
learning all about the
second to last letter in the
alphabet!
Pre-K 2:
This week we will be
learning about Outer Space
and the letter Y. We will be
talking about astronauts,
planets and other celestial
objects. We will try a
gravity experiment and play
with "moon soil" in the
science center
Kindergarten/1st Grade:
